EGR isn't blanked at the moment. It self cleans when I turn ignition off...I can hear it clearly chirping. I have EGR shut off in map. Think I may need to blank?

Plume of white smoke on startup when cold is normal, they all do that and you don't need to worry.
As for the clouds when you pulled away, I don't know. Is that just the once? |

Unburnt diesel.
Could be the injectors or the injector seals. Have read that in a German forum before. Copper seals for injectors cost about £10 each. Much luck. P.S. babelfish is your friend: http://www.blacklandy.eu/blboard/forum/sho...m-Anlassen |

Just as precaution I would have all four injectors tested by a certified diesel specialist. Regarding EGR which could be unrelated in this issue, I would definitely get it blanked. Source of many issues and is not contributing to your engines performance, just an emissions thing. EGR is just letting exhaust gasses back into inlet which makes no sense what so ever.

Thanks for the responses.
I will blank EGR and get injectors tested. Still doesn't quite solve my heater not blowing very hot compared to a week ago Might try bleeding the hose going to the heater valve. |

There is some more to EGR blanking than with the old engines. You will have to have the MAP adjusted to otherwise You will get the MIL lite on. Contact your tuning supplier, he will be able to assist you with this.
heaters sometimes have a life of their own, could start by checking the heater cables under the hood, could be that one of those came loose. Start with the easy stuff and then work towards the harder stuff. |

Thanks for that. The remap has turned the EGR off so it shouldn't throw a warning.
I checked cables and they were fine, will see how it goes after checking for air in hoses |
