Looking good
I was deciding on whether to go for black splats - or what ever they are called or body colour - having seen yours, I think body colour is the way to go - cheers Cannot wait to see the finished result 2020 P300 HSE |

my only rear regret is the rear quarters, but they were damaged enough they had to come off. so be it i guess. Cheers

starting to add bits back on now (after trial fit)
Click image to enlarge Exmoor Trim rear mat system and bench seat and belts each side added some tie downs - 3 each side to, bound to need them and the help secure the mat. Click image to enlarge Hood frame is on, Safety Devices bit on rear and the Exmoor Trim powder coated black front cab bits, cant remember what they are called! chq plate, winch etc to go and the hood and wheels to change on another note, rebuilding the front hubs, anyone used the Britpart swivel kits including the new deisgned top king pin! what a backward step, the inner part of th bearing is part of the pin and the outer bearing - debatable quality! photo of timken for comparison with more roller too. Nice to see the hood bits on. The more I see them, the more I want one.
Britpart, it's just not worth it. I've bought stuff, turned up as Britpart.... I saved myself a whole heap of trouble and just put it straight in the bin. CBA even to return it. |

fitted snorkel yesterday as well. it joins into on the Nugget sealed intake systems.
I had to cut down the tabs slightly on the mounting bracket of the Mantec and bend them open a fraction to account for the extra thickness off the nugget box behind the wing. it pays to hoover out the inside of the snorkel, plenty of manufacturing debris in there prior to me cutting/changing anything! i used lots of sealent for wing to to foam, foam to snorkel and backing plate to snorkel and snorkel itself to the wing. once its gone off will see how well its sealed by checking the top and limiting air flow! CB antenna undecided on where to put yet. winch needs wiring in to in cab (elec window) switch. found some new boots for it too! getting there, trial hood fit.
Click image to enlarge new boots are on 285.75R16s on std boosts no spacers. lock is better than my 110 so happy with that. i need to move the Z channel down a bit to make it tighter on the sides/back. Hood will come off again to sort so final frame bits. plus still need to add snorkel pics. first bad bit turned up - been running her a few miles to try and highlight problems. seems something must be wrong here: Click image to enlarge Cheers James 110 2012 XS Utility 130 2011 M57 bespoke Camper 90 2010 Hardtop 90 M57 1988 Hardtop |
