Oil leak handbrake drum!!!
Oil being thrown out of handbrake drum! Handbrake slipping!!

Will she get me to the UK or should I get it fixed??

I'm in Northern France on my way home?

I would just top the oil level up if it's a big leak and sorted it once home.
Hope there's not to many hill starts on the way...

Output oil seal and a fairly simple job to replace. Steve.
Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades.

I recommend oem parts, and a tin of brake cleaner to ensure the drum and shoes are cleaned, if there is excessive oil on the shoes bin and replace, not worth the risk Thumbs Up 90 wolf - Jasmin http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic39408.html

Replaced break shoes and output shaft seal today.

Output shaft nut was loose, not a good thing.

Probably why it was leaking.

Has stopped a bit of vibration on acceleration too! Winter's here, thanks goodness!

Did you use the sealer ( like thread lock ) on the seal I didn't and it didn't last long

No, but used 'Bearmach' parts and went for a new flange kit so hoping that would be the go.

Also went 80 90 on the Transfer Box oil rather than 75 90 what difference that will make time will tell. Winter's here, thanks goodness!
