What is your budget? Plenty of small high HP tractors out there. But mostly uncommon in the UK due to the way our industry has developed. However, all the manufacturers still make the type of tractor you want for Alpine regions and Eastern Eurupe, they juts don't import them here unless on special order. If you have a budget of around £25K then Deutz and the Same/Huerlimann/Lambourghini derivatives have some cracking tractors with plenty of power in a small chassis
I almost bought one of these 2 years back. They were on offer for £21K http://ted-hopkins.com/deutz-fahr-agroplus.asp |

My father has a little Zetor for very similar jobs to you and has been very pleased with it. He bought new for a similar price to a 5-6yo MF. It is very simple and basic but has been reliable.
The agricultural machinery market is pretty dire at present, so you should be able to pick yourself up a good deal. |
