Mines are terrified of the ramp, so I need to lift them back out of the car. They can still jump in, but I prefer to lift them out now as I don't want the shock load on their front legs and joints from jumping out. I had decided to store the ramp on the roof rack, but as I say they wont use it and try to jump over it If and when the time comes for a new addition to the household, they will get trained from an early age how to use a ramp. I know this doesn't help you at all, but best of luck finding a solution.

We had a freebie 2 and ended up putting the ramp behind the driver using up a passenger space, we looked at roof racks but it was a real faff especially if it had been raining. There steps that fold up to the size of a small suitcase, never used but look ok, these could potentially go in the boot with the dogs depending on size of your dogs.

I use a dog ramp for my two as they're quite heavy! It fits nicely between the roof and floor on my Ifor canopy. Surely a free lander isn't much smaller?

Don't have any experience as with my old boy Havoc we had a ramp that went behind the front seats but these may suit you

That's excellent - I think I've been on ferries between the islands in Scotland with smaller ramps that that :) Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated |

It extends longer than that but not required. Will take up to 100kg! After the first few try's the dogs were fine with it too. Just pull it out and tell them to get in. Job done.
