Evening all, Have any of you used or seen one of these in action as want to add another layer? They are saying that it has never been defeated so am interested in opinions please. Thanks, Steve |

Looks good, but I think it would work better on newer defenders rather than older ones.

It will only be as good as the person who installs it

I was thinking the exact same thing and thought this might be something you would like to add to your business?
Cheers, Steve |

That's very kind of you
But in all honesty I think this type of immobiliser is just too easy to defeat - granted you'd need time, but there are only a few circuits you could interrupt and with the right 'kit' these are easily over ridden. I'm not saying don't use it, I'm all for a layered approach, but I don't (personally) think it's anything special and I'm sure there are variations on this theme available in the UK |

Is this available over here already... Looks pretty good and the USD price is not that bad tbh, but wonder how it will translate to UKP... And does the price include installation... Rog... The GREEN One... MY2016 Urban Truck Build Thread - http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic40548....al |

Could be very scary if your child pulled the cap off at 70 mph on the M6.

Why would your child, or anyone else's for that matter, be loose in the driver's footwell, or anywhere else in a vehicle, at 70mph on the M6... Or, indeed, at any other time whilst you are driving... I honestly cannot see that as a negative for the system... Rog... The GREEN One... MY2016 Urban Truck Build Thread - http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic40548....al |
