I just put this on Angry Pumas and had an offer in under 30 mins, so if anyone can beat the offer let me know ASAP, would prefer the car to go to an enthusiast here.
I’ve decided that I am going to sell my Defender, which is stupid because I have just got it to where I wanted it to be and done so many improvements. But hey, someone else can enjoy the spoils of my labour and take on a sorted and stunning vehicle. (I’m getting married and need to use the money in other ways.) I never thought I would be selling this one so soon, but sometimes your life changes and you have to make sacrifices.I always knew it was a possibility and fun while it lasted! This is one unique and stunning Defender, a real head turner and one that seems to invite random people to come and talk to me about it, which is a big compliment I suppose. I am happy to supply VIN details, Reg plate etc for those who are serious and want to do their own checks. There’s lots of pics to compliment the work I have done on my build thread, more can be supplied. http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic38640.html 2007 57 plate 2.4 TDCi 90 XS County Station Wagon (Date of Delivery 4th Jan 2008) Stornoway Grey Metallic paint 6 speed manual 52,239 genuine miles MOT till July 22nd 2016 HPI Clear (no finance, bought for cash) Full XS Spec (heated front and rear screens, seats, elec windows, central locking, Air con etc) A truly pampered Defender: Those who know me from the DEF2, RRS or FFRR forums will know I am a stickler for detail, I never bodge anything and my work is to a very high standard. I am very OCD. Paintwork is never washed by a car wash, local Albanians or guys in Tesco car park etc, just me, using the three bucket method and lambswool mitts. All bodywork is clayed and then treated to my OCD level of a machine Paint clean, polish and wax. Alloys had three coats of Porboys Wheel sealant from new. All glasswork is Rain-X’d. Every time it was taken on the shoot it was pressure washed off and cleaned, no mud has ever been left on the chassis. All metalwork, hinges, bolts etc are treated with ACF-50. Another one bites the dust....
Have watched your thread, RR, from afar, and enjoyed it. Even purchased one of those dehumidifier bags, on your recommendation, been in the truck for 6 weeks and still not turned pink! If I did not own one, I would certainly be putting an offer in. I'm sure you will not be waiting too long for a sale buddy, you have one cracking 90 there. Good luck, I meant with the sale, not the marriage Cheers Simon I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you 1990 110 TD5 county, my first Land Rover - gone 2012 Discovery 4 XS SDV6 - gone 2014 Discovery 4 XS SDV6 - gone 2015 Evoque SD4 dynamic - Wife’s - gone 2015 Urban Truck 90 XS Santorini Black Hard Top - Reluctantly gone 2020 Discovery 5 Eiger Grey 3.0 SE - gone March 24 2021 Defender S D250 Santorini Black 110 HT - gone March 24 2023 Evoque P300e SE wife’s current vehicle |

Great looking truck for a fair price. Should sell quickly. Lots of mods and not many miles done since.

This thread is disappointing....it's a shame you're getting rid! I really enjoyed your modifications thread before I bought mine..... it gave me plenty of ideas. Thank you. 👍
