Springs and Shock absorbers Defender 90 300Tdi
Hi, I need to fit new springs and shocks to my Defender 300 Tdi CSW. I am considering standard height Land Rover original springs and I am being advised to use Bilstein shocks. I will be replacing the bushes and am considering Polybush Orange. I use the car for greenlaning and some (gentle, not extreme) off roading. I dont know much about shocks and springs, can anyone giev me some advice?

Many thanks for this. Will check out the Konies. I have also been recommended Fox shocks, a bit pricey though.

I recently brought 2/52 ago genuine take off defender shocks (got 4 for £50 Very Happy ) and fitted them last weekend. I have also seen 4 springs genuine for £50 so advice is stick with original and you could but everything for approx. £100.
Genuine standard shocks and springs designed for defenders...no brainer!!

Many thanks Tommo, certainly I want to stick with standard Land Rover springs, for just those reasons, thought I would check out the shocks story though!
