There's really no soul in that - trophy car that will spend most of it's time at the back of the garage and maybe brought out once a year to drive the trophy wife down to the golf club for a drinks reception...

I like the way the LR videos get across that the soul of the vehicle remains
It's just a bit of a face-lift ![]() |

I believe that what JLR are doing in their "Historical" S.V. Division is tremendous, and I reckon that one of their Series 1s would be a great thing to own. I've heard pricing around Eighty Thousand Pounds....simply way over my "financial ability", but nevertheless, I like what they're doing,.....could it also mean that JLR do think that their "Heritage" is important?

I'm not quite sure what to think to JLR doing this. Whilst I think its great that some vehicles are returning to the road (lets face it that 80" was well past mere "patina") I am not so keen on the fact that the pricing is well beyond the reach of ordinary mortals. These are millionaires toys, not the kind of thing an everyday person can aspire to. Whilst I accept these things cost money to keep on the road, I worry this will send prices skyrocketing. 2011 110 USW
