I think it will get the views but may die after a few series...like 3 series (length of contract)... Then Amazon's Clarkson and Co, will come back when their 3 years are up.... Then Evans who is Jeremy's mate, will hand it back or share...but to be honest, I will watch both.

Must say, I think a lot of people have been wanting this to fail, but you could argue, how can it? I appreciate Jezzer and the boys played a large part, but so did all the action and mayhem. I cannot believe that was all thought up by the trio, so with (I assume) many of the original production team remaining in situ, why should it not work? The key will be whether the team gels or not. If it becomes the Chris Evans show, then it could have a short shelf life. If however the 'team' are given fair airtime (which by the trailer seems to be the case) then it could and should do well, IMO. After all, the team's constituent parts have been very cleverly pulled together.
Chris Evans, not everyone's cup of tea but does 'irreverent' as well as Jezzer. But then I cannot abide Hamster and all his soppy, doe-eyed, foppish haired 'oh look at me I'm such a wally...'. So I never felt the original line up was prefect. Matt LB, arguably one of the original TGs most popular guests, very funny and an avowed petrol head. Sabine Schmitz, an instant hit when she first appeared, knows her stuff, happy to have fun and push limits Chris Harris, arguably the leading motor journalist and who's not afraid of 'telling it as it is' Eddie Jordan, the wee man's a bit bonkers, but good to have the inside track on F1 and other Motorsport The Stig. The stig's, the stig's the Stig.... Rory Read, the obvious unknown quantity. But then so we're May and Hamster 10 years ago, it took a couple of series for them to bed in and gel, and they're now stars. Who says he won't be a success? So really, as long as the theme remains the same, I'm sure we'll all watch it and the status quo will remain.
