TD5 110 - Utility Wagon Side Panels
Hey,

I'm looking for rear side panels without side windows (preferably with the windows in the back) for a TD5 Defender (build 2004)

At the following picture you can see what I mean:

Does somebody know a part number of what I'm looking for and can help me?

Best regards from Germany

Paul

88 ones do fit but there's a vertical strip by the door frame and the internal strengthening rib is horizontal instead of vertical, so if you wanted to put mud stuff interior panels in it etc it's going to be a lot more work

Wow Shocked - thanks for your quickly replies Smile

Do the utility wagon side panels from a TD4 fit in a TD5 without doing a lot of adjustments? And is there any shop in the UK where I can order these panels? I've already searched in a lot of different forums and I can't find an answer.

In German Forums the most members say that these panels are quite expensive and that I should remove the side windows from our defender, take a painted plate and stick it at the side.

Best regards from German

Paul

Yep puma ones will drop straight in. I've got a pair here that I'm waiting to paint when the weather improves. Took me 12 months of searching to find them.........

I have a set of a 1984 90. But I don't know if that will fit a 110. They will fit a 90 td5.

I think you are looking for 110 panels but that is not mentioned in your post.

Where do you live in Germany? I will probably be in furstenau in may. Roel

Oh sorry... I'm looking for the TD5 110 side panels.

So if I understood you right the following panels are 88" side panels, because of the horizontal strengthening rib, aren't they?

And is there maybe a Shop in UK where I can order the PUMA Utility Wagon side panels???

Thank you all for your amazing and quickly support! Bow down Thumbs Up

Dingocroft in High Wycombe may be able to source them. They are happy to sort shipping too.

Thank you Romadog! I've checked the offer, but it's out of my student budget
Overall after painting the sides costs approximately 1k€ Shocked for me - a bit to heavy I think.

Maybe I really have to accept the low-cost alternative Sad - remove the side windows of our defender and fit a painted plate over the hole. Neutral

Contact Tim at Marple Road Garage

or

They work together.
They may have Blanking Panels that they have removed from Special Vehicles 110 CSW that were converted in early days for BT and AA etc.

They basically fit into the window hole rather than bodging a sheet of tin over the top. Son't need to create more holes. At least then they can be returned to windowed sides if in the future you want to change back.
