I have these two bits i have taken out of my defender this weekend:
Mudstuff facia panel for 02'> TD5 with single DIN slot. Plenty of room for 52mm gauges or extra switches above. No extra holes drilled and only has a few scratches around where the radio cage fits £15 new so asking £10 posted. Click image to enlarge Secondly have an RDX end console with holes for two Carling switches (not included). RDX badge included but would need gluing on. £30 new asking £15 posted. Would you take £20 for both items posted? Or depending on where you are I could collect them.

Hi Simon,
I am afraid the RDX console is provisionally sold. The Mudstuff facia is still available though. Cant really go any cheaper on it though as the postage will be quite high with it being heavier than it looks. Located just off M1 J31 if you wanted to collect Cheers Steve 02' 110 TD5 Double Cab Rebuild Thread |

Not to worry then. If the other sale falls through let me know.

Sorry rallysteve if a bit off topic, did you have any luck fitting your end console?

I did have it fitted briefly but didn't like it personally so never bothered going to the trouble of fettling it into the right position. Screwed on without any real issues though. Heater controls fitted perfectly.
Have you had issues with one? Cheers Steve 02' 110 TD5 Double Cab Rebuild Thread |

I really struggled with fitting it as it didn't have the support lug at the bottom the original one did.
I lost patience with it and relegated it to the shelf of spares where it still sits now, I want to try and have another go at fitting it properly but need a free weekend to do it. I like the design of it I just couldn't get it to sit properly, could just be me. Running Restoration Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/post323197.html#323197 Self confessed mileage hunter |

I have fitted one Shaggydog, really easy to fit so you must have been doing something wrong, the console mounted better than the original Land Rover one. If you buy the one from Bolt on Bits you have to drill the holes for the switches but as it’s only plastic and if you take your time a good result is easily obtained.
