2016 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 XS CSW Aintree Green
2016 Rear Axle
Morning,

Has anyone noticed the rear axle drive flange has changed? Confused

I didn't notice this on the 2015 model I had, why would land rover change it after all these years for the last few?

Cheers

It is however interesting that the photo aboe shows that these shafts are different to the early shafts shown in the linked thread, and not just machined differently. They are a different shape to any I have seen before.

No doubt LR PR would have you believe "They were developing to the very end of production"... Probably more like... "we've got these bit lying around", "Don't order any new ones..." Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter It doesn't matter how bad it is, It can always get worse...

"we've got these bit lying around", "Don't order any new ones..."

Anyone opened the bonnet of their 16MY and found a 1600cc lump in there?
Or a strange bit of chain in the floor near the drivers side transmission tunnel? Laughing Laughing
