[quote="davidwhittaker"]its very easy to cannibalise a standard front badge to fit an old style one.

David

What adhesive would you recommend to stick the old badge to the new? Araldite type 2 pack, Gripfill, etc?

I literally just used superglue from Tesco, It was advertised as flexible though which seems good as didn't want it to go brittle and break off. Cheers, David

The plinth I had did not have a flat surface once I'd pulled the old badge off - it was curved like the old badge itself. I therefore had to sand flat the plastic first, which had the benefit of roughing it up a bit before sticking the metal badge on. Can't remember exactly what glue I used, but it was one of those epoxies that you have to mix the two parts together. I wanted to make sure it didn't fall off!
