Fuel Prices - sweet jesus!
Just got Petrol Prices email update through, BP ultimate close to me is now £1.42.9 per litre Shocked

£6.48 a gallon ffs!

Of that £1.30 or so a litre, nearly £0.71 of that goes in taxes (duty + Vat). And you pay VAT on the Duty - so your taxes are taxed !

Always going to be a soft target no matter what political party is in power.

Hope Cameron's noises about bringing back the ideal of 'variable' duty rates to offset crude prices actually is more than hot air Jon - 110 td5 [sold]. Currently Defenderless.

Around 70p a litre in Ontario, Canada for a litre of diesel, and they're kicking off about that!

Quite expensive really...

Here in Chile: 518 CLP/lt = 0.67 GBP/lt = 0.8 EUR/lt = 3.5 EUR/UK Gal = 3 GBP/UK Gal.
Argentina is about half of that.
