Impending doom?
Out at the lamb munchers last night and my red battery warning light came on twice after starting but went out after re-starting. Battery is six months old so i don't suspect that.
Anyone got a good source for an alternator as i don't want to get stranded? 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

If the battery was put in six months ago, I would check that the terminal clamps are tight before looking elsewhere. Really tight! Thumbs Up 1998 Tdi 90 SW,

Thanks, it's never done again so i will let it "develop" ! 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

I had that once, never came back. Voltage must have got low so perhaps short trip and some draw on it and cold weather.

That just might be it Steve.... 100W roof light, reverse light on and ignition for 40 minutes but the battery is only 2,000 miles old and it started with ease. 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..
