Kahn 1983 Piano Black Diamond Cut
I wonder if anyone has come across photos of a Defender with Kahn 1983 Piano Black Diamond Cut wheels on. I've searched the internet and have managed to find plenty of pics with the Matte Black and Silver Platinum on but none with the Diamond Cut version. Just wondering how would they look on a truck...

I think the silver ones look quite elegant:

The black ones perhaps a bit aggressive:

So wondering if the piano black diamond cut would be somewhere in between, i.e. the diamond cut will make them look smart while the black background would add a tad of sportiness...or they will just look Kahn bling bling Very Happy

Trying to envisage how would they look on my 110 as wifey is after my dual finish for her 90 Shocked

I really dislike the bolts giving it a 2 piece look when in fact they are just for show.

I like your dual finish wheels. You could always try getting them re-finished in black?

I think you're right m33ufo, they could do without the bolts.

Actually, not taking any definite decisions, just looking at pictures around the web. Have read through the 'Definitive wheel' thread on here many times Very Happy Just can't find the diamond cut Kahns anywhere.

Btw, thanks for the compliment Thumbs Up I too think that the dual finish are lovely looking wheels. Indeed I may have them finished in black and get wifey a new set, so we don't have entirely identical wheels on Very Happy MY15 Aintree 110 SW - for sale - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic82781.html

Might be a perfect compromise between silver and black?

Nothing to do with me by the way.

I think black Dual Finish or black Blindo if you really fancy a change.

Oh yeah, I saw that bad boy looking 110 on here. I think there is also one other 110 on the forum that has the dual finish in matte black. Both look really nice Thumbs Up I must have seen thousands of pics - if my brain could print it, it would be a Defender wheel encyclopedia Laughing MY15 Aintree 110 SW - for sale - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic82781.html

I posted that pic because, from memory, the matt black wheel had a silver centre cap. Looks better all black.

Probably my favourite wheel.
