Mrs Greeni.... She supports everything I do.

On the day we moved in together, I gave her a card that 'apologises in advance, for all the stupid 5h1tt I do'. She's very proud of that, even showing visitors who came last night!!

She cried when I sold my 90. She cried on the way home from Ginjez's house, she cried when we saw J-Lo.

I had one of them once, it was honesty was the best policy but it wasn't allways reciprocated especially when it came to the horses. Yes we had 3 horses but seven saddles was a bit excessive, it was when the seller of the eigth one phoned my number to ask for a delivery address that it came to a head. Those in the know can tell you that good secondhand saddles are £500 plus! Oh all those mods that could have been done years ago Whistle

Naaahhh, C'mon guys, all Wifeys are good.
However, opinions can be "biased", so for me, any such thread needs to be accompanied by pics, so we can all make our own "unbiased" judgements?

I can 100% say its safe for me to put down what ever i like, but the truth is that the wife and i were made for each other, she loves going out in the landy on the tarmac and thats it ! we do support each other in what we want to do, as GREENI said about his other half.

No offers please Rolling with laughter

Pickles, glad to see that your got over your recent troubles. Regarding your suggestion...Imagine the posts. Can you identify this part of the chassis? Believe it or believe it not this part of the "suspension" used to point upwards. It's not even 11pm and I've already gone off my breakfast. The secret is to go to bed first...or take out the bulb in the bedroom. Whistle 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

Well of the last six Defenders into this family, I only saw one of them before the deal was done by my wife. Am I unhappy about that? Err NO!

You can keep a lot of faults from becoming a more serious problem by regular servicing. 3 Landrovers

Once the warranty runs out and the maintenance costs start to sky rocket there's only one answer - trade in.

Mine's currently developing an anoying whine and I can look into the future and have a pretty good idea when it's going to start and for how long it will last.

The next whine should start about 5pm this evening when she see's the 2.2KV generator I have just bought from Machine Mart... It will start with something like "What have you got that for and HOW MUCH!!???" Cheers Don.

I had a choice..wife or defender.

Currently sat with divorce certificate which arrived in the post this morning while looking out at the defender wondering what new toys to buy Whistle
