Honesty,Land Rovers and wives.....
People who post on this site post honestly. None of us claim that our vehicles are perfect and are willing to admit the vehicles have "issues". We ask for advice regarding these faults and people will post good honest advice on ways to resolve these "issues".
Imagine if we had a READERS WIVES subsection, How many of us would be posting "faults" with our wives and looking for advice on how to remedy the faults. I can imagine some of the issues that could be raised.........sagging suspension, deteriorating chassis, body work past it's best, constant irritating noise while driving etc etc.
I wonder how many of us would have the remedy to help those asking for advice? So the question is DO WE NEED/WANT SUCH A SUBSECTION? 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

Question is, who would be brave enough to do it? Especially if their wife uses/reads this forum!

Now is this where I earn some brownie points by saying mine is perfect with no issues?

Mines broken, out of warranty, high maintenance, built on a Friday afternoon.

Daily searches for We buy Any Wife shows no results.

Owned for 27 years, no HPi checks available.

Can't live without her, always starts in the morning.

Sensible offers only. Cheers Simon

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you

Well my better half doesn't look at the forums so I'm pretty safe!
She's not perfect for anyone else but me so I'll keep her as she is and enjoy what I have !

Is that ok dear?

I can say this about my wife, that on a good day, in the right light and at the right distance she can look stunning; the only drawback is she drinks ten pints of Guinness before breakfast every day and she plucks her hairy lip and then leaves the hairs on the breakfast table. Other than that I have no complaints about her. Wink For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..

I always call the wife "My treasure" cos everyone says where the f**k did you dig her up!

My wife talks through her nose, cos she has worn her mouth out!

I call her dear, on account of the horns! Cheers Simon

Women share similarities to Land Rovers.... Your hands will always be dirty and your pockets always empty? 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..
