It's a truck? I thought it was an urban lifestyle sport utility vehicle.

Utility sounds a bit unsophisticated. Steve.

No it's not hard! I already suggested looking at the resistor pack, after all it is what controls the fan speeds [via the rotary control knob]. Steve. Passing the electrical current through resisters changes the fan speed. Change the resister, change the speed. Simples.

Good heavens Grenadier, you´re not feeling the need for a quieter heater fan, are you?
![]() Does this mean you´ve got your clutch sorted? I´m still waiting for the little potentiomer gismo to arrive..... ![]() ![]() ![]() All in good time. ![]() 2008 Td4 90 SW, 2012 2.2 90 SW, 2" raised Trailmaster/Terrafirma Heavy Track Raids, 255 MT´s, Recaro CS´s, anorak, wellingtons |

Apologies for reviving this thread, I’m in the same boat, which I have ordered a new piece of the resister pack.
Since this is a common issue, why this item breaks that often? What causes its failure since the replacement isn’t cheap Thanks |
