If that's in the sidewall you won't find a decent tyre repairer that would touch it

Google it and you'll find new available from around £130. There are used on eBay to. Do you have a matching spare you can swop on and put a cheaper / used tyre on the spare

Well I contacted 4x4tyres.co.uk and they informed me that KO's have now been super seeded by KO '2's' which basically are just a revised tread pattern, basically the tread runs further onto the side wall, plus their £30 cheaper, the guy on the phone was really helpful and said I'm better off putting the brand new spare KO on the truck and putting a new KO2 as spare as the KO are more exspensive as they are now only stocked or sold as individual items, so better to go for a full set of the KO2's when the time comes.
But yeah I need to check gumtree too roll on pay day lol. KO's on the left KO'2's on right Not much difference just tread running more into side wall. Click image to enlarge |

Is it an A/T or a M/T?
If it's a M/T I have one that was on as a spare. Marc |

Hello Retrostu
Not Good...Side Wall Repairs are illegal... If your running 'just' 4 maybe buy a new pair get rid (recycle the damaged one) and relegate the partially worn Tyre on this axle to a Spare... No easy fix... https://www.4x4tyres.co.uk/265-75-16-b-f-g...Atbx8P8HAQ SKIP https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic83242.html |
