[Wanted] decent tyres and boosts
Hi all

I need new tyres and my boosts are looking a little sad now, I don't mind boosts so no objections to another set Wink

I would have loved the new take off's that were on here for £400 but missed them and they were other end of country Big Cry

So after a decent set of wheels/tyres to replace mine, as new as I can get for around the £400 mark and preferably Linc's or surrounding area's.

Hi Brian

I have a set of five new Boost wheels and tyres taken off my Defender (collected yesterday). Absolutely brand new, wheels removed at 11 miles. They are currently sitting at the dealers, Lancaster in Milton Keynes.

I see these go for c£750-800 on Ebay, I'm asking £600 firm for a quick sale, cash only. Collection from the dealers preferred or delivery (in the boot of my car) might be possible, I would prefer not to get involved with pallets and couriers.

No I told everybody in the first post my budgets around £400 and I'd like as new as I can get, what's wrong with that??

All I'm getting offered is £600 sets and I haven't got that much to spend.

I can't see any problem I've caused and I don't know why people keep posting on here and asking more than £400? makes no sense to me Confused

Please no more £600 sets as me saying no seems to get up some peoples noses Rolling Eyes

Hi Brian i have a set of 5 coming off my 2014 110 they have done 10,000 miles but still like new spare new 14mm tread reat still have between 12 & 13mm tread i will let them go for £450 but i am in Surrey 5 mins from Junction 9 M25

Sound perfect but not sure the trucks up to that journey yet Sad , I've got fuel dripping out of the FPR waiting for a new part, my half decent front wheel is hanging on the back door with a screw sticking out of it and the spare on the front for some reason wasn't balanced so shaky at any speed.

Not a good week so far, if the FPR kit turns up and I get time to sort the other immediate issue's out I could be up for a journey but have to play by ear as also busy at work.

Don't hold them for me as I've also been offered a set in Oxford [another journey] that I'm waiting some pictures on.

Many thanks for offering up, much appreciated and if needed I'll come back to you.

Hi Brian

These any good? Off a 2005 90. Four are shod with BF Goodrich Mud Terrain and the spare's got a General Grabber on it. The Muds have about 10,000 on them I think and loads of tread left. Three wheels are perfect, two could do with a couple of bits of tidying up.

No idea what they're worth but guessing nowhere north of £200 so would leave cash in your budget to collect and refurb?

Will take proper pictures later
