We recently acquired this Series 3 Stage 1 109 V8, full time four wheel drive, Range Rover 4 speed gearbox, vacuum operated diff lock all as it came from the factory

These blue canvas hoods can be great with the right paint combination. Last three pics (a 1964 109 series IIA with 1 ton wheels/tires) looks as close to what yours could look like with a paint job.
