I found a similar problem when I fitted the kbx grille and head light surrounds to mine.
I think the answer is that no 2 defenders are the same and non are square Russell 2011MY 110 XS USW Black |

Sounds like your wings aren't straight- they have a habit of slanting. Take back to dealer and explain- they should straighten them up

Plus you need (when fitting) to line them up to the same points.
I went for the AC cowel - but then mine lined up fine! Mike |

I had that and it drove me crazy for weeks. I decided to line up the headlamp grills with the centre grille and now I also have an ARB bull bar - problem expensively solved!

I fitted mine OK!
Vertically alingned with the AC grille, horizontally aligned it with the headlamp plastic light surrounds ... 1mm more or less ... marked the spots ... on the other side just marked the spots with same distance! But could be the headlight surround ... on my Td5 the one on the right was not fitted correctly, it didn't align with that horizontal gap/line on the wing panel above the lights Regards Joao '10 Land Rover Defender 110 CC '08 BMW F800GS '64 SIIA Forward Control '69 SIIA 109 ZA CKD _____________________________________________ You have the right to remain silent.
