Hi all. Having couple of problems when turning left in my 110 xs puma.
Problem 1 - when manoeuvering slowly with steering under load, I get a grunt from somewhere up front. Doesnt do it when up on axle stands and nothing obvious catching, but only ever when turning towards left (and not just at full lock). Problem 2 - occasionally on tight hairpin bends (there are a lot of them around here!) i get a slight rear brake squeel. Both problems only ever when turning left - tried only ever turning right but get too dizzy! Any ideas? As most it seems, I have a few other outstanding 'issues' - rattling clutch, noisy EGR etc. etc. but the steering issues I am struggling to find out the cause. |

Thanks Ickle - I'll have a look tomorrow - checked a couple of months ago and all seemed ok when I serviced her and I think I was still having the problem back then. I have read elsewhere of problems with air in the steering fluid or perhaps faulty steering pump but have yet to look into how to check this.
