I can pull power from under the cubby as this is where the CB currently resides. However, I'm trying to cut down on the numerous cables running up behind the dash. Ive got loads already!

You could go for a perm live from the radio loom? Or even the cig lighter? Although I can't remember if th cig lighter is permanent live or not.

Cig is switched mate. Clock and radio share a feed. Now tempted to use 4core and send the audio down that. Eg 2 Gnds a signal and +12v. Will need to faff a bit to get a fuse and splice in the signal from an audio jack.

You can decide yourself based on the fuse rating. IIRC, radio and clock are fed from fuse F29, which is rated at 15A.

Was more wondering what the amp rating was of the clock harness.
Edited to add... PS its at position 30 fused at 10a. I suspect that picture is for a newer Puma. Mine is a 2010 2.4Ltr. |

Ah, OK. I always use this rule of thumb if deciding wiring diameters: mm2 = amps x length x 0,2.
So if the wire feeding the clock is 1 mm2 and length is 1 m or less, then it would be OK for 5 Amps.
