Thanks. I had just seen that. Looks a nice motor, but a little over my budget especially if there's work needs doing. On the plus side, I have family in Maidstone so will see when I'm next due down there.

Fair enough.
Yes it does need a few bits doing to it but there is no reason why you cant use it every day and slowly do the jobs as you get round to them. Good Luck with the search Running Restoration Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/post323197.html#323197 Self confessed mileage hunter |

Still looking. Think I probably prefer a 90, and would consider a hardtop that I could add side windows and rear seats to.

Struggling to find anything looking half decent less than 100 miles away at the moment. Let me know if you hear of anyone selling up.

OK. Looked at a couple of 90 TD5 HTs today. First one very nice, great chassis, very original, but a bit pricey (and red). Second one OK, a bit cheaper, but new outriggers welded on recently, oil dripping from the transfer box seal, and a nasty electrical whirring coming from the rear (assume fuel pump on its way out). And then I'd have to put windows and rear seats in.
Major snag though. SWMBO has now decided she is not happy with side facing seats for our daughter, and the forward facing ones would take up too much room. So it appears that I'm now looking for a good 110 CSW instead. Anything around? |

May also consider a 110 double cab.
