"A pair of newly-weds are delighted that police have found their beloved Land Rover. Nat and Matt Marshall were devastated after the distinctive red 4X4, complete with wedding ribbons, was stolen from outside their house in Swannington – the night they returned from honeymoon. Nat, 34, said the vehicle was her pride and joy and nicknamed Ruby because of its colour. The couple reported the Land Rover as stolen after it was taken from outside their home on the night of February 23. Nat said: "I got a call from the police the other day to tell me they had found Ruby. "I screamed with joy and jumped about the place. Matt and a friend were in the house and they rushed in to see what was going on. I looked at Matt and said; 'They have found Ruby'. We are both so delighted - over the moon." Nat and Matt tied the knot at Coalville Register Office on Valentine's Day then went on honeymoon to Tenerife. They returned home on February 23 and noticed the next day that the Land Rover had gone. Nat posted pictures of Ruby on Facebook sites asking for help in tracing her. She said: "We had lots of lovely responses so we were hoping she might be found. "We have not had her back yet as the police said they need to carry out forensic tests. They did tell us that she had been found on land in Derbyshire with another stolen red Land Rover. The police have told me that she is intact so that is great news. We are so grateful to have her back and want to thank everyone for their help and others for their kind wishes." A police spokeswoman confirmed Ruby had been found. She said: "On February 26 the Force received a call saying the Land Rover had been recovered from Bretby Park, Derbyshire. "Enquiries are ongoing."
