Modifiing my 90 suspension
Hi all,

My 90 300TDI currently sits on LR HD springs all around (std rears at the front and HD progressive ones at back) and Discovery rubber spacers with stock shocks.

I'm installing bigger tyres in the near future and I'll need a touch more room for them.
Step 1 will be lowering the travel 50mm with shock droppers and bumpstop spacers. This way the tyres will clear and I'll keep using std shock lengths. Also 50mm longer brakelines. Not much doubs for me on this one.

Step 2 I want to remove the Disco rubber spacers (were only effective in the first week or so) lowering the suspension 12mm and then lift it 50mm (=38mm).
Since I like my current springs and Ill have 50mm longer bump stops, it seems a good idea to opt for spring spacer blocks. I think it would be a waste to get longer springs and then never use their full travel because of the bumpstops. Am I right?

Any ideas on this step 2?
Thanks in advance
