Mine used to drive me batty but you sort of get used to it. I only notice it now and again now when in traffic

I had this problem, thought it was the MAF sensor, that was a waste of sixty quid. Car still does it (and always has), but I no longer have a problem with it

I'm on my 9th Td5. 1x10p and 8x15p. I've had the JE stage 2 map on 6 of them and this particular characteristic has been present on every one. I quite like it to be honest, don't even notice it any more.

Just coming from a 300Tdi, which... Never had and never has misfired.
I can't believe someone hasn't mapped/masked it of of the calibration. -Daniel 2006 (56) 110 Td5 Double Cab Instagram @110_td5 |

It's not a misfire, as its a deliberate act performed by the engine management. I've no doubt the likes of alive or Pete Bell would happily take your dosh and do away with it.

I understand what it is and why they (LR) have done it.
Coming from an Automotive development background, its a very crude way of saving fuel.... but, thats what was done. 2006 (56) 110 Td5 Double Cab Instagram @110_td5 |

Mine has an Alive remap on it but the stutter is still there. Glad to know that's what it's meant to do, thought it was just mine playing up. |
