Anyone running 31/10.5/15's ?
As above, thinking of swapping 5 wheels (currently 265/75/16's) to 31/10.5/15 - wondered if anyone has gone the same way and found much difference, I know they're slightly smaller in diameter, will that make much difference to road driving, does the size difference make much difference to the looks ? Is there any advantage to 15's?

That's about the same diameter as 7.50s so I wouldn't worry too much about the diameter.

Why do you want the change? Won't it just mean you have to buy new wheels as well as tyres?
Obviously you'll get a bit more sidewall over an equivalent set of 16" ones which can be an advantage or disadvantage depends on circumstances.

No reason to swap other than swapping my wheels over just for a change and perhaps modulars with 31's would be an option, plus they'd cost me less than I'd get for selling my used ones, easier to sell them without swapping tyres over etc.

I just wondered if it would make much difference to the stance and feel, I like the look of bigger chunky tyres, my 265's fill the arches nicely, I've heard of tyre manufacturers selling a tyre as 31"/32"/33" etc but in reality they are different, less in some cases.
