Just use a piece of flat bar as a very long washer and spray to suit and then pop it behind. If you are feeling keen, you can also make it the correct length for the various clamps, and weld a nut onto it to make it captive and then put it behind the mesh and hey presto. GSA, two points, I am not sure how solid the Mantec window guards fittings are. Also being in sunny downunder Australia there are lots of long distance corrugated roads.
Corrugated roads can cause lots of vibration which can cause 'issues' Fire extinguishers/axes can be relatively heavy so will need as close as possible to a good fixing. With lighter items such as first aid kits I have used long elasticated bungee loops fitted with a ball or hook and they work well. Please remember fire extinguisher you need to be able to reach readily from outside of the vehicle. On the rear door you have the long internal door handle. An extinguisher will rest on top of the handle and just needs holding on with elastic bungee loop or quick fist rubber clamp. Have a good look at the range of rubber QuickFist clamps as well Brendan |

Thanks everyone, doesn't sound like there's an off the shelf option so might mount the axe to the roof rack and the extinguisher to the rear door. Thanks again
