The space on the left of the dashboard
If you were doing the double din install the kit comes with the blank. Can you just buy the blank for the switches but not the double din part? I'm looking at a flip front DVD and would need to move the buttons to where you have it shown, is it easy to just move them? Thanks |

Mud do a panel that fits below the glovebox bit on the passenger side if you don't fancy cutting the dash.

You could use one of these surrounds and fit 2 genuine switches which would look much better than Carling switches.

Cheers folks.
I had a feeling the heater was behind there. I already have the switches, connectors etc was just trying to identify a mounting point before i started. Cubby box it is then, unless i decide not to bother with the usb connector just now then i'll mount them on the side of the dash. |

I have been looking for something similar, I'm sure I saw a mounting panel which held 3 carling switches, which fit under the steering wheel to the right, where the tray is. (if that makes sense)
Just wish I could find the website again where I first saw the mount. |

Yes that's the one, Beat me to it, just found the pictures.
Looks a neat install, just not sure how you would get the wires to it. |
