Having just bought Defender number nine I've been having a think about the 'fleet' and come to the conclusion that I just don't have the time for the 50th Anniversary project and so with a heavy heart it'll be up for sale.
Although the vehicle runs and drives and had an MOT up until the end of 2015, cosmetically it is shocking ! Every panel is either dented or has corrosion or both. The interior is in good condition and although there are a few drill holes in the auto console it is very easily restored. The bulkhead is superb and chassis is good. My plan was to do a nut and bolt refurb replacing the chassis with a galvanised one and every body panel. To this end I've acquired the correct 50th chassis, it is a Richards galvanised one and made a start on collecting bits as below, all of which are new or as new Headlining Rear sides Bonnet 5 x new BFG AT Lights Spotlights Drivers side front wing outer skin Stainless A bar Grille surround I'll post up pictures and further details on Tuesday when I'm back in the country. I'm looking to recover my outlay on all the above which is £12k If you are interested drop me an email at sales@fcx.co.uk Thank you Last edited by Go Beyond on 3rd Mar 2016 3:19pm. As above, she's number 25
My price reflects what I've spent and doesn't take into account the time and mileage I've spent collecting. I'm not looking to make a profit just recover my outlay. Plenty of interest but as with all sales the first person to pay is the new owner ! |

The four tyres on it are good BFG Mud Terrains The light hanging out was to check what type of connector it had, I have a new set of lights all around Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge I have the correct chequer plate corners Click image to enlarge Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated |
