110 middle exhaust box
Can anyone confirm that the later centre box from a 2.2 or 2.4 would retrofit to a 2003 td5?
The studs and flanges are almost rusted away, but not yet leaking.
I've been trying to analyze parts manuals a super ceding of part numbers but can't draw a conclusive answer.
Has anyone every fitted a later takeoff one to an older td5?

Thanks 4RF,

Seems later ones are wce 500490
As per link at bottom.

TD5 are as per your link wce 104450 replaced by wce 105180.....but cannot find any links that show the part ever being superseding up to wce 500490.

They look very similar in all the images I've seen.

I can get a new takeoff tcdi one for about a 1/4 of the price of a TD5 one, so wouldn't mind going that way only if I can guarantee the fit. (Considerations when you are a poor Canadian living in a rich Euro world!)
