it's original except for the ZUs, it's known as the "ICE" edition, the opposite would look interesting, white hinges, bonnet, roof and wheel arches - anyone good with photoshop ?

Most of my problems with the Puma i am now surmising is due to fact i am towing heavy all the time, and i dont think Land Rover have sorted cooling issues properly.
I have had 6 new egr valves
2 new manifolds (warped)
2 new Turbos (they sized up)
2 Gearboxes (1st gear blew then second one leaked)
2 rear diffs
1 new engine (very early on 12thou hydrauiiced up on engine oil and threw a leg out of bed)
oh and anoying stuff like wipers siezing up, back door lock siezing up etc etc

If there was better oil and intercooling fitted i bet most of those problems would have never occured

Anyway all is good Matfords in Exeter is one of the best dealers in the world and have always sorted it Land Rover Warrenty is bulletproof would never own one with out it

My TD5 was the same except that just ate head gaskets every 10thou that could not hack the hard life i gave it either but that was being thrased up and down the motorways constantly with the old 5 spd box.

All the new ones i have driven (while mine is in) dont have the same get up and go as mine but the engines do seam to run better smoother but the also seam worse on fuel a little 260 280 per tank against 280 300 a tank

Have fun with your new toy its the only thing that i would ever have on my drive as a workhorse If everything is under control you are not going fast enough.

Every Day 16 MY Discovery 4 Commercial Workshop and Escort Vehicle
Weekends 07MY L322 TDV8 Vogue SE
Series 1 80" 3ltr 6cyl with overdrive

I am being positive and that is what you don't like... LR keep churning out LE's and this colour combination is the worst yet or were you the youth with the black shirt with the white collar and white tie and a moustache like an earwig? C'mon, ALL white is miles better? 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

Wouldn't spec that look myself but I like it.

Defenders get worked hard. Not surprising they can struggle. Defender 110XS SW gone... now VW California 180 4 Motion.

RD: Each to their own Razz - The Fire and Ice editions are only available in mainland Europe, not Scotland so you are very unlikely to see one.

You never know, Land Rover may release a tartan edition to the Scottish market Rolling with laughter

Question

I don't get your logic. I don't like Salvador Dali paintings, but i don't call them ugly because clearly not everyone agrees with me.

I quite like LEs, i wouldn't want to buy many of them if i had the money, but they're a bit of a laugh.

I suppose my point is that taste is personal but i'm not going to say to someone that their pride and joy is ugly - where does that get them or me?

Happy New Year Scotty Thumbs Up

The thing that put me off white was the truck looking like a UN vehicle, or a jungle ambulance. Probably very practical in Africa (reflecting sunlight) but sticks out like a sore thumb in farming country in UK - IMHO

Hey Evoke will sell like hotcakes, which hopefully means they can fund a Defender replacement!

Fire & Ice clearly not to UK tastes, hence they don't sell it here Wink Disco 3 gone but the memory of the bills remain...
XS 110 Utility maybe one day..... (did they fix the quality yet?)
