That exhaust has the approval of the lady that sits next to me and normally complains when I play V8 sounds

Yeah, most vids sound like a strangled cat as people rev the out of the engine, which sounds horrible. Its the steady burble that counts

Sounds v nice!
What exhaust system did you go for in the end? My Bearmach system has settled in nicely now and sounds totally different from when it was new, |

I'm not sure if it's the same, it's the sports system from Rimmer bros. I had to 'fashion' it to fit here and there.
I wrapped the manifold on one side as it was hella close to the starter. I can't remember, without going lie under it in the garage (note time posted!) if it's a Falcon system? Will confirm tomorrow. Today was fab, Kev (member of here and lifelong bud) fine tuned the timing for me. I filled the auto box with ATF and worked it through the gears.... I now have drive! Then I filled and bled the brake system, as it's all new and I made the pipes myself, I was chuffed there was no leaks. It's all going well. |

It's not too noisy, though it has since had the timing set up, so sounds more responsive !!!
Though, if you paid £600 for an exhaust you would expect it to fit, I really had to 'fashion' this into place...worked out really well though, I'm chuffed. |
