Td5 Misfire
Hi guys

Fairly new here so hopefully this is in the right section. I recently discovered that the ally intercooler in my Td5 90 had cracked open on one of the welds. Having taken it out and had it repaired, I put it back in this evening and it now appears to have a misfire and flat spot when under acceleration. Does anyone know how this would have caused this? Or is it likely to be something else and its just a coincidence?

From what I've been told by the previous owner its had a Td5 Alive remap and I've also found that it has a Td5 Alive boost box fitted, as well as the bigger intercooler.

Thanks

Will

Check your turbo waste gate to see if it's siezed.

Turns out the waste gate was seized. There was also a small amount of oil in the plug between the injector harness and the rest of the loom so I've ordered a new harness. Thanks guys! Very Happy
