defender puma turbo boost
Hi guys. Does anyone know what a defender 90 tdci boost at. I'm looking to fit a boost gauge. And was wondering what bar max to go for. Cheers

3 bar max should cover it and any future mods you may make Excuse the spelling I`am better with spanners and wires.

About the turbo gauge, do you how I can fit the sensor on a TD4? I have a gauge in mind (VDO) but still looking for the solution to fit a sensor to the turbo..

Obviously this isn't helpful if you want a proper dial gauge, but things like the Ultragauge will display boost pressure.

Max boost reading..
MY2016 2.2 Puma 110 SW - running long inclines at 40 deg Celsius and 100-105km/hr - reading on Ultragauge will be 154kpa or 1.54 Bar or 22.63PSI

Tried a bit - but could never get it higher than the above.

Don't know if there may be "regional" setting for maximum boost for different parts of the world.

Just fitted an ultraguage over the weekend - I too am getting max boost 22.63PSI precisely! Wish I had your temperature though - it is just above zero here at the moment!
