Can you fill in your Defender profile Whistle

You have disturbed the permanent 12V supply to the cluster, it's fed from the same fuse as the interior lighting (Fuse 30, 10A).

Sounds like a faulty splice/joint where you have tapped into the Purple/Brown to feed your new lights.

Where did you cut the purple/brown?  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

Explain the the profile comment please....

I gave everything a good run over and disconnected and re connected and all appear ok now! As you say it must have been a bad connection, I have a couple I still need to solder up so likely it's one of them!
