2 suggestions as I use both, Wolf boxes and 'really useful boxes'. The 32litre really usefull ones are the best manageable size half the price of wolf boxes.

As stupid as it sounds Im using an old recycling bin that have since stopped being used by the local council. A good wash out and it does the trick. pretty heavy duty too.
Also cost nothing. |

Interested in something similar for the stuff I seem to cart round and also then for camping to multiple ones 'stacked'

Another vote for Wolf and Really Useful boxes. We toyed with fixed boxes/drawers but in the end decided to go for the more flexible solution of stackable boxes that can be moved around or some left out, depending on what we are doing.

For our trip to Corsica in 2015, I wanted a to create a modular easy to remove flat floor for my 90, integrating the Waeco 35 Liter compressor coolbox that I already.
I discovered a 40 Liter aluminium box at a local home depot, that had the right plan dimensions to fill the floor of the 90 perfectly, and the right height to run almost flush across to the wheel boxes. Four fit snug with the coolbox and a fifth can replace the coolbox closing the gap. One for tools, one for supplies, one for the boat kit and so on... Not quite finished yet (are these projects ever?) I bought eight waterproof "scuba" boxes from solent plastics to keep stuff dry in my pickup bed before I get a canopy sorted. They're not as brittle as really useful boxes but are a bit softer so flex a bit if you stack them on top of each other with too many heavy things inside!
I was impressed with how waterproof they were - recently pressure washed the mud off the outsides with the lids on and didn't have a drip of water inside. http://www.solentplastics.co.uk/marine-sto...age-trunk/ |

Would be interested in seeing them in-situ.
There's plenty of great boxes out there but finding some that make best use of the rear tub of a double cab is quite hard. I use the more brittleJ umbo General Purpose Stack / Nest Plastic Storage Boxes http://www.solentplastics.co.uk/stack-nest-plastic-containers/ and find I can get them 3 high x 2 deep on each of the wheel arches. |

Click image to enlarge They provide enough room in two layers of four for bags of clothes, cooking kit and tools etc but leave some space around them for jerry cans, tent bags, things like that. |

If using Really Useful boxes, the black recycled plastic ones are the strongest and not brittle. We have used the 35 litre ones for years. I think that the 18 litre ones have the same footprint as the 35 litre ones.

Not too fussed about the rear visibility to be honest, I'm used to driving panel vans etc so it doesn't bother me.
That's right it is an equipe. They're not cheap but I've never found another bumper like it, or any other of their accessories in terms of quality (steering guard and light guards fitted now too). They're definitely not cheap but it was a "gotta have one of those" moment as soon as I found them. Clare at Trek Overland does a sterling job aswell if you give her a call - was a little proud to make their website a while back aswell as I was their first customer 
I'd love to get hold of some big peli or aluminium cases eventually for a bit of a tomb-raider vibe when I get the cage sorted but their cost is prohibitive at the moment!  |
