Actually, despite what Pete suggests, it is SWMBO that does the cooking and she uses something similar on her rolling pin... It doesn't hurt so much when she cracks me over the head... Ergo, made sense to look for something along those lines and Green... Rog... The GREEN One... MY2016 Urban Truck Build Thread - http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic40548....al |

Had to pop out for some odds & sods today...
Well that's my excuse anyway and it would have been rude not to, today of all days... And didn't see a single other Landy, even in Marshalls... Ended up at Marshalls in Peterborough on the pretext of checking First Service costs and making do with a photo opportunity, although I'm if the bloody wind would change to the right direction for my latest mod... You got it in one, almost mate... Long story short, said to SWMBO, have you got any black ribbon my dear... Nope, came the reply, you could always go and buy some, she said... Okay, says me, if you don't happen to have any, I will be hanging one of your brassieres from my aerial when we go out to lunch... Minutes few later and a nice length of tidy black ribbon appeared on my desk... Rog... The GREEN One... MY2016 Urban Truck Build Thread - http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic40548....al |

I do have other, bigger, longer taking stuff still to do, but it is still cold, wet and very windy and my beloved Landy sits on the drive 24/7...
So, after the bi-weekly wash 'n brush up had KesSpec looking sick 'n span again... Nipped out and fitted a very simple but effective little mod courtesy of Russell aka @Japseroony thank you for great service ... Click image to enlarge Really pleased with the functionality and looks and to the naysayers, please, no snide comments about sources and costs, I am very happy with the service and product Russell provided, end of... Hi roger I bought 2 of those of Russell as you say great service and they are good quality. One question though have you thought about how to remove it if needed as the clips look stiff and would be a pain to get once fitted?

Hey Andy, I sort of thought about it as I clipped it in and then didn't, if you know what I mean...
To be honest, I do not see an immediate need to removing the cover in the foreseeable... I would imagine, if needs be, a thin blade inserted behind should make a decent enough lever, with due care for the cross member being taken of course... Rog... The GREEN One...
