It should stop the mud flap brackets snapping a section of 1/4 panel off like usual but to me it does look a little odd. Ray

The only issue is now there too far back you'll get all the mud and muck in your cross member.

I think the mud flaps despite their name are just as important as spray suppression on the road, the distance between the wheel and the mud flap will be a deliberate feature along with each the ribs on the wheel side which channel the spray downward.
End result is that with more spray and poor output from standard LR rear lights your vehicle will be harder to see on dual carriageways in heavy rain. Plus your departure angle has worsened and your likely to lose a flap on a slighter gradient than standar position |

Looks just not right to me. Prefer the looks and the functionality of factory position which works fine as long as you also install the already mentioned reinforcement brackets.
Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |

Hello
From a looks view straight from behind I guess it does look neater, however they look 'lost' and on a rainy day not sure how good they will actually be? I like the idea as 90's look neater, but on the 110, sorry just something not right? |

I did take a while to get used to the idea, but I like it, hears a Kahn 110 with a similar idea

The Bowler ones look better & come with the bracket. They're a tad longer than OEM & thicker.
Available via a phone call & ask for Matt Click image to enlarge |
