Hi Tony and welcome Thumbs Up

If the second cable you are talking about has a connector on it goes ....... nowhere !

It will be found on most pre MY 2010 models, it has been removed on 2010 onwards.

How do I know - I found the spare cable after my 2009 110 had been in for gearbox work and the dealer confirmed it was not used and removed in later versions.

Not sure.

According to the guys at Yeovil LR it should never have been on the Puma, LR just didn't bother to get rid of the cable until 2010 MY.

It should be clipped up out of the way on one of the gearbox flanges.
