Spotted this 90 this morning on a trailer near Oxford. Sorry they are long distance shots but we could get no closer. I can't see how it is the real final vehicle but it is the same colour. The rag top seems different as it has roll up sides. I can't imagine JLR would cart it about on an open trailer behind an old Discovery either.

Could it be a Nene Heritage Icon variant - the soft top looks similar to those they use:

Aside from the roof it was all heritage 90 - Grassmere Green with matching arches and wolf rims. Sadly I was too far away to get the reg. It seemed to have some kind of roll cage or beefed up soft top hoops as well. 2011 110 USW

The one I saw had the factory heritage grille etc, it did not have any kind of aftermarket add-ons. 2011 110 USW

Perhaps it is Crawthorne's which did come with roll up sides....

Easy enough to build a replica, it's a Defender after all
As you say, the real one is unlikely to be carted about in the open behind a 300 Tdi D1 1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top 2015 D90 XS SW |
