i took off the door handle in day one. i just pull the door or wind the window down a bit and stick my hand through the window then pull. couldnt cope with the handle, what a stupid place to put it

Nakatanenga make a rather nice leather door handle to get around the problem of the original digging into your leg. Peter

England 2010 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 USW Stornoway Grey
I fitted a pair of the Nakatanenga leather door pulls, which, IMHO, look pretty tasteful.

Being saddle leather, they are strong enough to pull on, but soft enough to compress when your thigh rests against them, unlike the stupidly placed plastic OEM ones...
