Would an 'straight out the crate' unused Chevvy V8 lump, plus ancillaries not be the same or less? Modern, 2015 engine with bang up-to-date tech, as opposed to 20+ year old unit, with associated old tech/wiring and 150k+ mileage (abusage) under its belt. Not to mention single fitting cost for the Chevvy versus removal and refitting costs for the Disco? Monsieur Le Grenadier

Just showed that to my boss.
His first comment "what does the 5.5" lift get you? Means it falls over?" I then pointed out the nearly 500HP "oh, so it falls over quickly then" Laughing

Those gauges are a bit tacky!

The ad says it's was brand new crated RRS supercharged V8 engine and it has less than 3k miles on it.




My question would be which ZF auto gearbox is being used? It look like a standard 4 speed control unit but I'd have thought it would want something more beefy than that.

Hi I bought a 93 (L) discovery and the chassis had absolutely no rot on it and my mate has just at the weekend bought a 94 (M) discovery and the chassis is solid no rust,so they can be good not saying this one is but they are out there Thumbs Up Paul Tash n Barney
