Thanks all. Always had an interest in the series 1 2 and 3, Been a defender nut for about 15 years, had about 12 in that time. These are all to keep.
Yes Adventure the proper name ! I will post some better picks of the DC Bowler when the weather improves, maybe tomorrow, it's had full Bowler conversion , wheels, suspension, interior, engine map etc. I had the tonneau cover especially made for the Bowler, I just couldn't find anything off the peg and I didn't want water sitting in the loading area. I will dig up the details of who made it |

The 90 is great for nipping round the lanes and local stuff , 110 for filling with cycling kit going to races and Bowler for something quite different. Bowler always feels special, masses of torque How's your new Adventure going Lord Hemming? |

The Adventure is great thank you Sweeney, probably the best Defender I've ever driven
Did you buy your Bowler from Tonbridge, I remember seeing it in the showroom when it was new. |

Yes from Harwoods Tonbridge . Have purchased a number of vehicles from them over the years, also Harwoods Edenbridge which used to be testers. Also use caffyns in Lewes . Tend to use Tonbridge for servicing as I can drop off and get train to London . Clive who runs the workshop has great knowledge of defenders

Cool you are a luck man, your Bowler looked fab! I bought my Adventure from Harwoods, seem to be a great bunch, especially Liam in the parts dept.
