110 4 recaro setup.....
What's the thoughts on the twisted second row recaro setup?? Has anyone seen one, or been in one?

Hmm fair points, I would use a second pair of genuine LR seats, twisted make up a frame so I would do the same but could make height adjustments to suit, I guess I can mock it up using the pair I now have just to see. The third row doesn't bother me as they are never down but eventually I would have them trimmed to match. Andy

United Kingdom
From a practical point of view (our kids are 8 and 5)

They like to take lots of toys on road trips (especially trips to Europe and longer UK trips) in which they generally have a box they fill each with different things it. Then we have their child seats on top of the normal seats so would cover these up anyway?

With this set up it harder for them to share stuff and access these, stuff would be lost in the cubby. "dad can we stop I cannot find......"

Also I tend to end up buying all sorts and use our cars as vans, will these fold? even putting something such as a bike in the boot without the seats folded I would not want it rubbing on them...

ooh yes and the view from the 3rd row (maybe a none issue) would be pretty bad...

If anything and I'm all for mods, its probably overkill given they must be £1.5K for the pair if not more?

There is the slightly lower cost option I've just fitted.

Never knew exmoor did this... Actually like the setup they describe with no cubby to give access. I would love to see one so might keep in touch with twisted. Thumbs Up Andy

This is exactly what I'm saving up to do this year. We have our fourth child on route and so ill be setting the back up with four seats. The boot has fold fdowns already.

What's your feedback on the tall seats ? Fitment and comfort wise ? They look smart

I was actually aiming to do the six seat set up with Corbeau's, even had a buyer for my Puma's 60/40 bench. But local French garages wouldn't touch the work, claiming fear not being original, liability in a crash etc. Load of balls, IMO, as they're quite happy to knock up all kinds of crap to keep ancient peugeots, tractors and mopeds on the road. Just think they couldn't be ar**d. Had I known Exmoor did these brackets, I would already be sporting a six seat configuration. Let's be honest, for me (just me and Mrs Grenadier) there wouldn't be too many occasions we'd have visiting friends both without a car (most fly drive) and with three kids (only one family of all those we know) to warrant a full 7-seat set up. Further, in winter skis could be thrown in a bag down the middle, keeping the exterior tidier and avoiding the risk of stolen kit....

I'd say go for it. Thumbs Up Monsieur Le Grenadier

I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list.....

Yes good point, when I added the rear seats in my x tech I had a motor engineer certify it for my insurance, he said the work was superb.

Yes we are 2+2 family and I also have a wee caddy van plus with the rack I can always move the longer stuff up there... If I could get it looking the way I want it I would be up for it, going to dig a bit more. Andy

I may experiment with the premium seats I took out... I suspect I would need to take the recaros off the runners to have a smaller mounting area. Andy
