A big NO mate
Just not practical to use here. Also it looks like the HT which I didn't want after they deleted the windows on it. |

I think that looks wonderful.
The 90 soft top always did. It is just such a damn compromise. Not a good car for winter, and not a great convertible roof for summer.....but they do look good. Theoretically, you can use the SW roof as a hardtop, and create a shorty soft top for summer, that is easy to remove. But then it starts to look like a J**p. Still looks stunning, in that colour combination. 1998 Tdi 90 SW, 2008 Td4 90 SW, 2012 2.2 90 SW, 2" raised Trailmaster/Terrafirma Heavy Track Raids, 255 MTīs, Recaro CSīs, anorak, wellingtons |

Surely ti cant be that difficult to have a HT back end trimmed in canvas? Best of both worlds. You could buy the correct canvas from Exmoor, off the roll. Someone like FCX could probably make these!

Would disagree, having run a soft top as an everyday vehicle for over 20 years - it was great and leaked less than any hard top Not sure where they got that top from or who fitted it - but I'd be very disappointed if it was mine - the back end looks a right mess. reminds me of a Tracy Emin installation: |

It does look as if it just came out of the packet! You'd have thought on a vehicle this significant, they'd have been up early and steaming the creases out of it!

"I love it"
Me too. As one who lodged a deposit in 2013 then pulled out when the "last editions" turned out to be nothing more than a few stickers and left-overs from the accessories bin, I'd have gone ahead with one just like that... Peter |

As soon as my Mrs saw this she said " your gunna have a soft top aren't you"? Well yes I'd love one, but not at the expense of my heritage. Great looking thing though, perfect for the last one.

Love the look of it.
You will find with all new canvases they need to shrink to fit right, they are all slightly larger when new. A few days in the rain and it will sort itself out, and look a whole lot better. 80" 80" 86" 88" 90" Wanted, Forward Control Anything considered. |

I was under the impression that the boss of Land Rover at the time pulled the plug. He didn't want to look backwards, with the discovery in the pipeline.
